Litigation Associate Insurance Defence Lawyer Toronto - New May 2024
James Wilson Barristers Professional Corporation, a boutique Toronto Insurance Defence Litigation Firm, is looking to add to our professional team.
We are looking for an intermediate litigation lawyer with insurance defence experience to add to the firm's existing expertise. Lawyers with 2-5 years of experience are welcome to apply.
The successful candidate will manage their own litigation files and assist senior counsel as necessary. You will handle claims involving fires, property damage, fraud, automobile accidents, personal injury, insurance coverage disputes, product liability, construction claims, equipment breakdown, etc. The individual will also be responsible for writing analyses of decisions and legislation and written materials for client presentations.
Defence experience in the areas of tort, coverage, property and casualty defence work is required. As well as the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks on schedule and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in the Courtroom would be an asset.
